Driver forced to take £82 taxi trip back to Manchester

A motorist who fell foul of the law was taught an expensive lesson this morning. The driver, caught on Yeadon Way in Blackpool driving his white Ford Focus without insurance, had to stump up £82 to pay for the taxi back to Manchester, police said. The costly journey came after the car was seized and taken away on the back of a recovery truck.
