Essex Police appeal for information after Heybridge taxi driver assaulted near the Mill Beach pub A taxi driver was spit at and punched in the face by a fellow driver outside a Heybridge pub. The 56-year-old victim, from Heybridge, was driving along Goldhanger Road when a car began flashing his lights and sounding its horn behind him at around 6.25pm on February 18. The suspect then pulled in front of the taxi before getting into an argument with the victim outside Mill Beach pub. He then got out of his car, spat at the victim and punched him in the face, causing swelling. The suspect has been described as being in his early 30s, around 6ft tall and of a large build. He had dark hair, was wearing dark clothing and spoke with a local accent. He was driving a small dark hatchback car, the make and model of which are unknown. probably road rage there's no reason for it there is a lot of traffic out there these idiots have got to understand that they have to share the roads not expect every vehicle to get out of their way so they can drive at high speed |
