Department for Transport written question – answered on 8th March 2017.

Barry Sheerman Labour/Co-operative, Huddersfield

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when the Government plans to publish its response to the Law Commission's 2014 recommendations on the reform of taxi and private hire vehicles legislation.

Andrew Jones Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Transport)

The Government are currently considering all the recommendations in the report, against the background of a rapidly changing industry. We will formally respond to the Law Commission and announce our intentions once that scrutiny is completed.

how many times is this question going to be asked and then blanked  the government will never take this up as it doesn't suit their party donors !!
