What a load of cr*p. So you are walking along Marylebone road rather quickly. Breathing deeply because of the pace. So you are intaking the polutants more than sitting in a relaxed mode in a cab.
Mind you if in a Ollie type vehicle, you would be hyperventing though fear....

Thats because most of them hold licenses that were obtained in the peoples republic of Zazzebongoland.

I feel theres a slight hint in your post Mac, that they drive like [edited by admin]*s?

Surely not.

Considering there are far more saloon cars licensed as cabs than there are LTI vehicles then this experiment doesn't hold much water unless of course the researchers meant to say "Black cabs". In that case they should have mentioned the type of vehicle, supposedly LTI vehicles? I'm also surprised they didn't make the distinction between diesel and petrol engines because they each have different types of emmission pollutants.

The report should have said Taxis come top and bottom because it is obvious that the Taxis tested were LTI type vehicles, while saloon type Taxis would have come bottom at 40,000 pt/cm3. Unless these researchers are saying Taxi saloons are different to every other saloon vehicle?

Regards

JD

Isn't that a cause for celebration? Yet you seem to be blaming Ollie for it. :?

As for joining the LTDA, aren't they a share-holder in Com-Cab (yes I know they used to own it all, but they had to sell it off to those foreigners), and don't they have agreements with mini-cab firms?

Little bit of hypocrisy there methinks. [-(

I don't mind Sussex. In fact I quite like it when I get up their hooters.

Because when they come back and slag LPH off, it just goes to show why they will never be the 'best in the world'.

You won't see me there Ollie, but you will see some of your fellow licensed Minicab drivers standing outside asking people if they would like a taxee as they leave.

But theres no great surprise in that now is there? :-|
