not uk but relevant

A taxi driver in Port Moresby is lucky to be alive after the taxi he was driving collided with a PMV truck this morning.

The taxi driver alleged that the PMV driver was asleep while driving.

The PMV truck went off road hitting the taxi before crashing into a tree.

Residents of the neighborhood said the PMV crew escaped after the incident.

The incident happened at around 6am this morning.

Traffic Police are investigating the incident.

The head of another local Taxi Company refused to comment as he did not wish to appear narrow minded.
