Due to Helen Fletcher, ubers lawyer admitting that they are a private hire operator every L/A should take a leaf out of Reading Councils book and prosecute uber drivers for Plying for Hire in an unlicensed TAXI(hackney carriage).

I've always been confused by the kerfuffle caused by the 'are Uber a PH operator or not?' issue.

If a firm signs an application form, and are granted a private hire operator's license, shock horror they are a private hire operator.

And I wouldn't advise any LO going the Reading way until the courts have decided the matter.
