Due to Helen Fletcher,ubers lawyer admitting that they are a private hire operator every L/A should take a leaf out of Reading Councils book and prosecute uber drivers for Plying for Hire in an unlicensed TAXI(hackney carriage). |

I've always been confused by the kerfuffle caused by the 'are Uber a PH operator or not?' issue. If a firm signs an application form, and are granted a private hire operator's license, shock horror they are a private hire operator. And I wouldn't advise any LO going the Reading way until the courts have decided the matter. |
