halliwell territory FIVE men have been arrested following the “unprovoked attack” on a Swindon taxi driver. Today, a 63-year-old man and a 40-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of robbery and are currently in custody. On Tuesday, officers arrested a 35-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of robbery. The previous day, a 54-year-old man was arrested. All three have been released under investigation. The arrests follow the assault of a 28-year-old drive by a group of men after he drove them from Cricklade Road/Poplar Avenue to the Supermarine Sports Club on Sunday, October 8, at around 11pm. |
