is there any way to increase the lengt of headlines ?

WITNESSES are wanted to an ‘altercation’ between a taxi driver and his passenger in Craven Road at around 8:30pm on Saturday September 30.

The male passenger fell to the floor and required hospital treatment.

The taxi driver was arrested but has been released under investigation.

If you witnessed the incident or have any information about it, contact Warwickshire Police on 101 referencing incident 357 of September 30.

sounds like case dropped most likely

No but you can abbreviate the header and have the headline in the post.
