Something is drastically wrong here,a police investigation into the granting of this license is required,Councillors and Officers have clearly failed in their duty of care whilst holding public office when granting this license.
Again it is claimed Uber are not protecting the public allowing a convicted person access to their operation,but what do we expect when the greed for money outweighs public safety.

I’m struggling to understand how someone who has been in jail this year can be viewed as fit and proper.

Got to be more to this, if true.
