Derby taxi driver crashes after 'medical episode' injuring himself and two passengers
A Derby taxi driver suffered a "medical episode" while driving on the A52 and drifted off the carriageway before crashing.
The incident, which happened today on the A52 eastbound near Junction 25 for the M1, left the driver and two passengers with minor injuries.
News of the accident was posted on Derbyshire roads policing unit's twitter page.
The tweet said: "Driver states suffered a medical episode and drifted off the carriageway. Minor injuries to driver and two passengers. On slip is closed for recovery work. DVLA driver medical dept and Derby City Council licencing notified."
