Black cab trapped in taxi rank after £250,000 Lamborghini supercar rolls into it - and driver's nowhere to be seenA London cabbie was left furious and unable to work after he was blocked in a taxi rank by a £250,000 Lamborghini. The driver was stopped from picking up fares today after the 217mph supercar rolled backwards and wedged itself under the taxi's wheel arch.
It is thought the Lamborghini Aventador's handbrake was either left off or came undone when it was parked at St Pancras train station. The 1mph prang happened at the taxi rank outside the busy hub this afternoon.
With the Lamborghini's owner nowhere to be seen, the taxi driver was left wondering when he would be able to pick up his next fare. Eyewitness Seamus O'Brien said: "The Lamborghini had been there for at least half an hour before I arrived.
"The taxi driver had tried to find out who owned it and all the doors were unlocked as someone opened the passenger door and it just sprung open. "He was more annoyed that he couldn't move his car until someone could drive or pull the Lambo away.
"A policewoman who was taking notes at the scene was asked if she would like to drive it away but she declined."
