Two men cautioned after death of Chesterfield cabbie William Taylor at Manchester Airport https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk ... h-14726338 Police caution two men as post mortem result revealed Two men have been cautioned following the death of a taxi driver at Manchester Airport. William Brent Taylor, 57, known to friends as Brent, is understood to have fallen ill on April 6 after an altercation in the multi-storey car park at Terminal Two. The grandfather, who was waiting to collect passengers at the time, was rushed to hospital following the incident and later died. Police were called to reports of an assault at around 8.25am, an investigation was launched and two men, aged 25 and 55, were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. However, Greater Manchester Police issued a statement on Wednesday to say that the two men have now been cautioned for threatening behaviour under Section 4 of the Public Order Act. A spokesman added: “A post mortem examination has now taken place and concluded that there was no evidence of physical assault or injury that contributed to William’s death. “An inquest into William’s death will take place.” No more details about the incident were released by GMP. Mr Taylor, who lived in Holmewood in the Derbyshire town, worked for private hire firm A-Line Taxis. Described as ‘one of the nicest people you could have met’, his family are said to have been left devastated by his death. Mr Taylor’s colleagues, meanwhile, said he was an ‘amazing and lovely’ man. A spokesman for A-Line Taxis said last month: “He was with the company for quite a while. “He was always up for a laugh, he was so funny. “He always helped out when he could. He was one of the nicest people you could have met.” A poignant final post on his Facebook page read: “Just dropped off at East Midlands now sat at Manchester waiting for the plain [sic] to land living the dream xx.” |

hmmm..... sounds like he was parked up waiting and the other two decided to have a go at him for some reason sympathies to the family always a bad day when something like this happens |

The same will happen at EMA you mark my words, they are owned by the same group that own Manchester Airport. |

I must be lucky as I never have any problems at Gatwick or Heathrow.

VERY LUCKY idiots at Gatwick that hastle you while dropping off but leave those picking up outside terminal alone the same happens at Heathrow the London PH boys can clog up T3 drop off zone as much as they like but if a non London taxi picks up outside to save time they get fined £40 |
