Just heard tonight from the taxi coommiittee men who are close to the council, that our council are to put up new taxi signs complete with lights, [neon] the old rank signs are being resigned to the scrap heap, but this could take a few years till a budget is available.

I wonder if we get the same problems as the taxi shelters, with the lights been out for years, ring taxi licencing, taxi shelter lights gone, oh, thats not our department, says taxi licencing, not sure who's responsible they say.

Red lights might atract more custom?
