Image: Twitter - @bluepearlspasA taxi had to be rolled away from petrol pumps after it caught fire on the forecourt of a services in Hotwells.
Firefighters were called to Hotwells Road just after 10pm on Tuesday (July 31) and found the car well alight when they got there.
A nearby business owner said the blazing vehicle had to be rolled away from the forecourt.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service's spokesperson said: "At 10.20pm, two crews from Temple Fire Station attended an incident involving one car which was well alight at a service station in Hotwells Road in Bristol."
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a jet to extinguish the fire.
Police closed the road while the fire service dealt with the incident.
The fire service said the cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
