Police are hunting an Uber customer who caused £1,500 of damage to the car after a row with the driver.

Police said two women were travelling in a white Toyota Prius in the early hours of the morning of June 22 when an argument broke out between them and the driver.

The women had cancelled their trip between Peters Street, in Soho, to St Paul Street, in Islington and then refused to get out of the car, according to police.

The women then tore up the minicab by banging on it and pulling off the front and back window wipers in Pentonville Road.

Both ran away after the Uber driver called the police at around 4am.

A 39-year-old woman was interviewed under caution by appointment on September 9, but Scotland Yard are still searching for a second woman, believed to have caused most of the damage.

A police spokesman described the suspect as a white female, aged between 20 and 30 years old, with blonde, shoulder-length hair and an Australian accent.

She wore a dark leather jacket during the incident on June 22.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 020 8345 0405 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

What do you expect of Uber, price surging is normal,so one would not be wrong in saying damage surging is expected to be there norm.

No prizes for guessing where she is?
