I can't believe that LTI would ever do such a thing as be anti-competitive. :-#

This isnt exclusive to LTi, most main dealers try to con the public on warranties. Servicing can be done anywhere by a competant repairer.

So does this statement only apply to London or does the OFT think that only the PCO regulates black cabs in the UK?

I think the difference here is that dealers have been insisting on manufactor's parts. It looks like now we can not only use non-dealers to do the work, but non-dealer's parts to boot.

And still maintain the warrenty. :D
