Don't know if it's really worth posting these things, but there was a similar one in Plymouth a few days ago, with a very clear image of a woman, but it quickly disappeared, possibly because an arrest was made very quickly.

Certainly couldn't mistake the person here though.

Police want to speak to this woman after a taxi driver was racially abused in Wigan.

British Transport Police have released the image following an incident outside Wallgate station.

A woman is reported to have kicked and banged the front of a taxi, then racially abused the driver before walking into the station.

It took place at 4.22pm on Wednesday, January 23.

Officers believe the woman in the picture 'may have information that could help the ongoing investigation'.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 339 of 23/01/19.

British Transport Police say they are no longer appealing for information following a report of racially aggravated behaviour in Wigan.

A woman is reported to have kicked and banged the front of a taxi outside Wigan Wallgate station. She is then reported to have racially abused the driver.

The incident happened at 4.22pm on Wednesday 23 January.

A woman has since made herself known to officers and has attended a police station for a voluntary interview.

Currently, no arrests have been made and enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
