Interesting wee video - nothing particularly new to people on here, but it's less than three minutes and quick to load on the BBC's website...

Crossing Divides: The black cab driver and the private hire driver

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-englan ... ire-driver

Private hire taxi firms such as Uber are becoming more and more prevalent.

But where does this leave the traditional black cab drivers?

A private hire driver, licensed in Birmingham but working in Coventry, meets a Coventry cabbie as part of the Crossing Divides season.

The points they make are valid.

Both are out to make a reasonable living, nothing more nothing less.

My view is the problem is too much supply, caused by many things which have been highlighted many times on TDO.

One being cheap EU labour.
