Not sure what's happened to original post on this thread, and seems to be a couple of tech glitches tonight, although not sure whether due to my connection, the site's server, or something else.
Anyway, can't be bothered doing the whole thing again, photos etc, particularly as it's one of these where it's best just to look at the video, but here's the link to the Twitter video and the link to the original piece on Bristol Live at the bottom.
The Twitter video is really all you need to look at, plus the relevant quotes from the council etc.

The video was shared on Twitter by the Bristol Cycling Campaign group, who said the incident had been reported to Avon and Somerset Police and Bristol City Council.
On March 21, the council revealed the driver had had his taxi licence revoked following an investigation.
In a statement, the local authority said: "Following a report from the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team a private hire taxi driver has had his licence revoked for driving his taxi in an intimidating and dangerous manner, putting the safety of a cyclist and other members of the public at risk.
"The cyclist had captured the incident, which was considered as very serious and is also being investigated by the police, on his helmet camera."
