A HGV and a taxi have collided on Derriford roundabout near the hospital and police are at the scene

A taxi and a lorry have been involved in a collision in Tavistock Road.

The crash happened at about 2.30pm near Derriford Roundabout and traffic has been queuing as a result.

Police have confirmed they are at the scene. A spokesman said everyone is out of their vehicles and there have been no reports of any injuries at this stage.

A force spokesperson said: "This is a collision between a HGV and a taxi. It looks like it is damage only. Everybody is out of their vehicles.

"Police are there."
