Suspect Sussex will be less than impressed by this guy Maybe at least get a real person to help you out if you're trying this kind of thing, although even the landlady the other day wouldn't have gotten him off in view of the photo (I'm guessing the 'taxi driver' here is a PHD with a roofsign.) Speeding Dudley taxi driver Majid Hussain jailed for trying to dodge speeding fine https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/black- ... d-16342494 Majid Hussain was caught on camera doing 56mph along the 40mph A41 Black Country New Road in Sandwell on June 26, 2018 ![]() Image: Birmingham Mail/West Midlands Police A taxi driver has been jailed for trying to dodge a speeding fine. Majid Hussain was caught on camera doing 56mph along the 40mph A41 Black Country New Road in Sandwell on June 26, 2018. However when he was sent a notice of intended prosecution by the central ticket office, Hussain nominated a fictitious person as being the driver at the time. ![]() Image: Birmingham Mail/West Midlands Police It was only when he was subsequently interviewed by police - and shown the photographs taken by the recording cameras - that the 28-year-old admitted to making up fake details. Hussain, of Ivanhoe Street in Dudley , pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice on April 30 at Birmingham Crown Court. He was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison at a further hearing on Tuesday (May 21). |

Quote: Suspect Sussex will be less than impressed by this guy I sort of pity drivers like him. Instead of getting a £100 fine, or a short ban if he was a totter, this fella is in prison with no chance of getting his PH license back for many many years, if at all. Typical of so many drivers who think they are clever when in reality they are as thick as pigs sh**.

Quote: why pity he is clearly the sort of dishonest person we need rid of from our trade ![]() Clearly his activities were illegal and the sentence is fully justified. But I take the view his utter stupidity is the reason he is where he is, more than his criminality. |
