base is my car which i am driving and taking further bookings passed over to the other cars yes it would be very difficult to record them

So someone rings up whilst your driving and says they need a car.

Surely you write the details down, especially if the job is required the following day.

That's recording and keeping details.

no round our way 90% of calls are for "straight away" cab (not car) only a small number are pre booked ;the consequences of years of over supply; the consumers now expect taxis to be on tap

My mate has his phone set to record all calls. That way he has a record and if a problem occurs he has a reference point. Not difficult.

ALSO ILLEGAL i did look into that years ago you cannot record mobile phone calls as there isn't a way to put the "message" in at the start the way you can with a landline

yes you can record landline calls as long as you include the "message" but NOT mobile calls
