Thursday after midday you and yours programme are investigating why so many private hire cars are licensed by Wolverhampton council. Should be interesting to those who are interested in the trade rather than stupid jokes and non taxi tales.

Problem with the BBC is they try to hard to be fair to both sides, rather than dealing with the issue at hand.

Don't know if this has been dumped permanently, but wasn't on Thursday or Friday, and no sign of it in Monday's schedule.

But for anyone thinking Jimbo was daydreaming (heaven forfend  ), for what it's worth you can hear it mentioned right at the end of Wednesday's show, at 39.20 to be precise. Although I suspect you need to have a BBC account registered to access it:

Come on the BBC have never been fair, what about Jill Dando? We all know why she was bumped off.
