Helensburgh girl, 15, charged with 'assault' on taxi driver

A HELENSBURGH teenager has been charged with allegedly assaulting a taxi driver and spitting on another girl, according to police.
Officers attended the town’s West Princes Street at 7.30pm on Sunday, August 11 after a report of a disturbance.
It’s alleged that an altercation had taken place after the non-payment of a taxi fare.
A 15-year-old girl was charged with allegedly assaulting a male taxi driver by punching him to the head.
The same girl was also charged with allegedly assaulting another female by spitting on her and refusing to pay the taxi fare.
A report has been sent to the children’s reporter.
