This demonstrates why I try never throw people out once I'm on the way, quite apart from the fact there's zero chance of getting any of the fare

Quite a few years ago now a drunk I threw out came round and kicked out the driver's side window, which cost me most of the weekend's work, the insurance excess, and a whole lot of hassle and inconvenience

Anyway, video on the Mirror's website.

Disturbing footage has emerged that shows a passenger pulling out a knife and stabbing the tyre of his taxi after an argument with the driver.

The knifeman pulls the blade out of his pocket and pierces the tyre when the cab driver refuses to take him any further.

The footage on Snapchat appears to have been published by the unknown passenger with the caption “ulot thought I was the mad man”, with laughing face and knife emojis.

The shocking incident is believed to have been filmed recently in London and comes as knife crime continues to blight the capital every day.

The viral clip has been shared across social media since Sunday night and has amassed more than 200,00 views in a few hours.

The video begins with the filming passenger in the midst of a heated quarrel with the taxi driver – seemingly about the correct route to his destination.

The cabbie tells him: “I don’t want you in my car. I finish this job. Done.”

But the youth orders that he drop him to his requested location: “You’re dropping me off”.

The driver however calmly argues: “You can’t push me to do anything.

The passenger retorts: “I’m not pushing you to do nothing. I just want you to drop me to my destination.”

But the cabbie responds: “You are very rude.”

And the youth shouts back “How am I rude?

"You're rude! I'm trying to tell you a shorter way!"

The driver halts his car and tells the passenger: “I’m finished. Please get out of my car”.

The thug argues “Bruv you’re making me pay for this! Are you crazy!”

But the cabbie puts an end to the argument: “I am finished. That is it”

The passenger shouts at him: “Are you done” and the driver answers that “I am done. Get out.”

Social media users were disgusted by the passenger’s actions in the footage.

Many individuals pitied the driver. @ghost_tsr remarked “Bullying an old man and putting him out of business wow what a bad man”.

@izt_k similarly condemned the passenger “Wow so brave carrying the knife and hurting someone’s income. Just stupid. You can get another cab and get refunded for your losses. The driver just lost 3 hours of work at least”.

At least he should get caught now.

Numpties think they are clever putting stuff like this up on the net, but all it is is a online confession.

For the criminal damage he would get a fine, for having and using a knife in public he has a very good chance of going to jail.
