There's no description of the car/driver, and no specific appeal in that regard, so looks like they know who he is.

A woman had to be rushed to hospital when she was knocked unconscious after rowing with a taxi driver in Halifax.

Between 2.20am and 2.30am on Saturday, March 14, the victim was in a taxi on the A629 Keighley Road, between the junction of Moor Lane and Beechwood Road.

The woman in her 30s and her partner were involved in an argument with the driver and the victim was assaulted after getting out of the taxi.

She was knocked unconscious and had to be taken to hospital for treatment of her injuries.

West Yorkshire Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed or saw the aftermath of the assault or who came to the victim's aid.
