Woman taxi driver dragged from cab into street by robber as she waits to pick up fare https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/tees ... b-17730464 The cabbie was sitting in her taxi in Ainderby Way, Longlands, when she was attacked A taxi driver was dragged from her cab as she waited to pick up a fare before being robbed. She was waiting to pick a fare up on Ainderby Way, Longlands, when a man suddenly opened the door and pulled her out and into the street. The man then grabbed a bag of cash containing about £80. He then ran off towards the Grove Hill area. A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said officers are investigating the incident which happened just after midnight on Saturday, February 8. The driver was left with minor injuries following the attack. The suspect is described as:
