Police want to question these three people
A cab driver is recovering after being ambushed by three passengers who beat him with a knuckle duster.
Sean Martin has been told he was lucky not to lose his eye in the attack by two men and a woman in the City of London on 3 March.
The knuckle duster, which had a flick knife concealed inside, was used to punch Mr Martin in the head.
Police say the attack was unprovoked and they need to trace the suspects as soon as possible.
Mr Martin was assaulted in Long Lane, Barbican, at about 2330 GMT that Friday night.

Police said he was left with "nasty injuries" and doctors told him he could have lost his eye.
Another taxi driver told police he picked up the three suspects near Long Lane and dropped them near London Bridge station.
Investigating officer DC Emma Brown said: "This is a totally unprovoked attack upon an innocent member of the public.
"A concealed weapon has been used which could have caused far more serious injuries.
"We are very keen to find these three people and bring them to justice."
The people police want to question about the attack are a slim black man with short hair, aged between 18 and 25, a white man with short dark hair, aged 20 to 25, and a slim black woman, aged 17 to 21.
