Dear All

The association were contacted today regarding a possible scheme for taxi and private hire drivers, it came from a chap from the Daily Express.

As you are all aware, certain businesses are currently closed due to the coronavirus, this includes independent garden centres.

Some of these centres are members of the Garden Centre Association.

Basically if their produce isn't bought, it will rot and get thrown out.

You can register with the GCA offering your services to collect gardening stuff and take it to peoples homes.

Our association cannot tell you what to charge, and wouldn't. However, I would point out that by doing this type of work, you'll keep many people very happy plodding away in their gardens, taking their minds off this extremely worrying time.

You should contact the following, remembering to tell them where in the country you are.

info@gca.org.uk

I hope this is of use.

Best Wishes

National Taxi Association
