Hi Skip...long time no see.

My 8 seater would be more than capable of a two meter gap and it's a PH.

Even better if they insisted on doors that opened automatically at the touch of a button (cutting down on contamination issues) like my Vito!

I had electric doors on a Previous vehicle but the trouble was folk still tried to slam them shut by hand and it didn't do the door motors any good.

Yep, they can be a nightmare, especially when people have had a few, they just don’t understand “leave the door it’s electric” I end up saying it in my sleep! #-o

A London taxi representative has highlighted concerns as private hire drivers transporting key NHS staff around the capital sit no more than half a metre apart.

So when the trade should be uniting to try and get the best for all taxi/PH drivers, this knob wants to try and gain a competitive/financial advantage.

FFS grow the f*** up. [-X

The LTDA General Secretary also highlighted the porous nature of the vehicle's interior designed for everyday family life, making the minicab more difficult to clean and disinfect.

My understanding is it's better if this bug can sink in as it then has time to die before it can spread on people's hands.

Yes, it does read more like they want saloons off the road as a business opportunity rather than for health reasons.
