Post subject:  Age Limit?????
We have a 7 year age limit in the Borders, but if you have a car that is 6 years 11 months and 30 days old you can put it on for 3 years, fair enough, but last week the council licenced a car that was first registerd on
the 3 12 98, 7 years and 4 months :shock: :x :?: :?: we pointed this out to them and there reply was the car is still 7 untill its 8???? now answers on a post card please

Most councils always follow any rule or regulation they have with the words 'in most cases' or 'normally', thus not fettering their discretion. :wink:
