Officers were called to West Watford this morning to reports of a suspicious vehicle.
Officers arrived and spoke to the driver and passenger. The driver stated she had left her iPhone in a taxi earlier in the evening and had tracked it back to an address where the taxi driver lived.
She believed driving to the address at 3am to collect her iPhone was a good idea......
However the she failed to realise she was double the drink drive limit and had no insurance or driving licence.
The vehicle she drove was seized, driver arrested and passenger had a rather long walk home into London. On the plus note, the iPhone was located on the back seat of the taxi and returned.

That said I have had people bang on my drivers doors at 7am on a sunday morning to retrieve iphones before now
