Teen charged after taxi knife threat in North Station Road
A MAN has been charged after a taxi driver was threatened with a knife.
Gbolahan Adelabu, 18, of Honeyman Close, Kilburn was charged with threatening a person with a blade.
It follows an incident in the early hours of Friday when the taxi driver was ordered to drive to Stansted Airport in North Station Road, Colchester.
He fought his attacker off and was unharmed.
Adelabu appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and is due at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday August 21.
