Post subject:  NR3 REGISTER OF REVOCATIONS AND REFUSALS

As it stands only driver details are required to be included on this register.
My opinion of this requirement,it is a breech of the Equality Act,is direct discrimination of the 1st degree.

The requirement should apply to operators and proprietors as they are as big a risk.

Good point - hadn't thought of that angle. They should at least be consistent.

Not sure about the applicability of the Equality Act, though.

And I suppose their argument is that it's the drivers who are the biggest and most direct risk to passengers.

how many owners or ops license holders lose their license anyway ? If they are directors of a business they would appear on the list of banned directors most likely ?

The whole point of this was to stop drivers banned in one area migrating to another and getting up to their old tricks again !

The same applies to operators and proprietors or is your thinking these are whiter than white,if so you are living in dream land.
