A taxi driver was attacked by two men after their vehicles crashed on New Year's Day.
The victim was involved in a collision in Bristol on January 1, and police have now issued an image of someone they want to speak to in connection with their investigation.
His taxi and another vehicle crashed in West Street, Bedminster, at about 4.40pm.
Avon and Somerset Police said two men got out of the other vehicle and "assaulted the taxi driver", before damaging his taxi.
In an appeal shared this morning (Tuesday, January 12), a force spokesperson said: "We’re issuing a photo of a man we want to identify following [the] assault on a taxi driver in Bristol.
"We would like to speak to the man in this image."
Police said the second man, not pictured, was described as black and in his early 20s.
Anyone with information has been asked to call 101, providing the call handler the reference number 5221000410.
The force did not provide further information about the nature of the assault, nor the extent of the driver's injuries or damage to his taxi.
