Grant income received by a business is taxable. The SKDC Taxi Driver Restrictions
Grant will need to be included as income in the tax return of the business.
Only businesses which make an overall profit once grant income is included will be
subject to tax.
So with restrictions a grant of just £500 however less than 30 percent of drivers working in Stamford would qualify
which is somewhat unfair because they all pay their licensing fees and they are all badly affected so the fight continues to try and get the council to accept this
