It's always a good idea to ask your councils permission before you make modifications to a vehicle whether it is externally or internally, temporally or permanent. It could save you money and it may offer an opportunity to negotiate? Regards JD |

I must admit these stories do [edited by admin] me off. Yes there are some jobsworths in some licensing departments, but I'm sure that by running to the press it only makes things worse. |

Did you read the comments? I sometimes wonder if people only do things like this so that they and others can make jibes about jobsworths and killjoys. |

So far the licencing have been very quiet about the situation. The way i see it, We (the drivers both white and asian) are supporting the company, the country and a local charity (where all proceeds from these stickers we sell to public go to) Licencing have laws, fair enough. If licencing were to say pull me off the road for having these stickers in my car, they know i will make a song and dance about it and could result in a backlash for them with bad press, hence them being quiet about it all. I have sarcastically asked them if i need their permission to wear an England shirt for work, i await a reply. |
