A taxi driver was treated by paramedics after being involved in a crash with a truck.

Police and paramedics were called to Springfields Retail Park off Newcastle Road, Trent Vale, earlier today following in the incident.
As a result of the crash - which officers say took place on the retail park - traffic monitoring site Inrix said the A34 was 'partially blocked' in both directions.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Inquiries into what happened continue."
Meanwhile, West Midlands Ambulance Service said one ambulance attended the scene. A spokesman said: "We treated one patient, a man who was the taxi driver. He was treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene."
