New training academy for taxi drivers set to open in Bradford

https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/ ... -bradford/

A TRAINING academy for taxi drivers is set to open in Bradford later this month, encouraging more people to take up the trade.

Power Carz Training Academy is for those who are "interested in becoming a taxi driver, but don't know the next step", says business development consultant Jerome James.

All training will be provided free of charge, Jerome adds, and topics covered will include customer service, health and safety, transporting of children and young people and routes and fares, amongst others.

"We'll be helping drivers through those stages of anxiety to create and support the next generation of taxi drivers", says Jerome.

"The course will be delivered over roughly four weeks, and will take place in the boardroom of our new offices."

For more information, email Powercarz1@yahoo.co.uk.
