A yob threw a can of cola at a taxi before verbally threatening the driver in Boston town centre.

The incident happened in the taxi rank in Boston Market Place at around 4am on Sunday, August 8.

Lincolnshire Police believe the male suspect is about 17-years-old.

A spokesman said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at around the time of the incident.

"We believe there may have been several witnesses who intervened.

"We would also like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV footage.”

Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident 222 of August 12.

Doesn't sound like much of an incident, and doubt it would be reported even in our quietish town. But of course there may be more to it than has been reported.

In fact the thought of that dual-track rank makes me feel more worried, like that one in Colchester a couple of years ago 8-[

Would encourage one kind of queue-jumping, as per yesterday's Northants thread [-(

One of my vehicles get hit on average once a month with cans of coke it is an every week occurence in Lincolnshire just takes a bit of cleaning :sad:
