Taxi driver punched and robbed in vicious Birmingham attack

A taxi driver was attacked and robbed after a dispute with his passenger in a Birmingham street early in the morning.
The attack took place in Gravelly Hill, Erdington on Saturday, October 16 as a cab driver stopped at around 5.30am.
His passenger is said to have disputed the fare and demanded a partial refund and then punched the driver before stealing cash from him.
Now West Midlands Police has issued CCTV of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Do you know who this man is?
“We're investigating after a taxi driver was robbed in his cab as he parked up in Gravelly Hill, #Erdington, at about 5.30am on Saturday, 16 October.
“After demanding half the fare back, the passenger punched the driver, breaking his glasses and then stole cash.
