Post subject:  CCTV images of woman released after Airdrie rank assault

This happened in July last year, so you have to wonder why it's taken so long to issue this photo but, on the other hand, maybe good to know that they're still pursuing it eight months later.

Not really a trade thing, I suppose, and maybe should have put it in the thread about rank queue incidents, but here it is anyway :?

But she's another one who may have 'vital information', so although you'd have to guess she's the suspect, she may genuinely only have 'vital information' rather than being pursued as the perpetrator.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman they want to speak to following a serious assault in North Lanarkshire.

A woman was punched in the face while she waited in a taxi queue on Stirling Street, Airdrie, on Saturday, July 10, 2021, around 10.45pm.

The woman was treated for a serious facial injury at University Hospital Monklands following the assault.

Officers believe the woman in the images may have “vital information” which can assist their investigation.

The woman is described as being in her mid-40s, with a slim build, long blonde hair, and was wearing a white top and black trousers.

Police have urged the woman, or anyone who recognises her, to get in touch with Coatbridge CID on 101, quoting incident number 329 from July 10, 2021.

Don't think it's on here, but this was reported back in July 2021.

And the photo obviously a bit too big for the forum (at least as my browser portrays it), but not really a lot of point posting it unless the photo is included.

You have to wonder if she would have been found had it not been for the CCTV.

Funnily enough, last thing on here about something happening in Airdrie was another taxi rank assault, so seems appropriate to put it in the same thread. Same rank as well :?

Only taken three months to release the photo this time, though. Think it was eight months for the case above :-o
