Did the legwork on this before realising that it wasn't about a taxi driver, so here it is anyway, and it's a very short piece But could just about see an entirely innocent driver getting into trouble over the delivery, but no sign of any of that here Debt-hit Nottingham man agreed to deliver package of drugs by taxi https://www.nottinghampost.com/news/loc ... ed-6674082 Grady Mabika-Blessing, of Westleigh Road, Strelley, pleaded guilty A 22-year-old man is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply. He was charged after a quantity of cocaine was reportedly found at a house in Ilkeston. Grady Mabika-Blessing, of Westleigh Road, Strelley, was arrested after police attended an address in Blackburn Place, Ilkeston, on January 17. Officers said they recovered a quantity of cocaine and found and arrested a man. Makiba-Blessing appeared via video video link before Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday, February 16, and pleaded guilty. Only brief details were heard about the offence, which involved the defendant having a debt and agreeing to deliver a package of drugs by taxi. His case was adjourned for sentencing, when the full facts of the case will be heard, on March 16. |

Think it's quite common for dealers to use taxis to shift drugs. Some drivers have even been known turn a blind eye.
