Somehow doubt he'll be plating that Merc [-(

I'd be selling it, and if I had £200k in the bank at the end of it, that would be me finished with the trade :-o

Not clear where precisely he drives, but looks like he lives in the Adur Council area.

A TAXI driver is upgrading his wheels after winning a Mercedes Brabus, worth £187,000, and £50,000 in cash from an online competition.

Atef Ikladios from Brighton said it was “a dream come true” to win the prize, after paying £5 for a ticket.

Christian Williams, presenter for competitions company BOTB, turned up at Atef’s house to tell him the good news, leaving him in shock and joy.

Atef, who lives with his wife in Southwick, immediately recognised Christian when he arrived to tell him the good news and was taken to a car dealership for a grand unveiling of his new car.

“Is it real? I can’t believe it. It’s my dream day today,” he said.

He was left even more shocked when it was revealed there is only one other Mercedes Brabus in the UK and was presented with £50,000 in the boot of the top-of-the-range car.

He said: “This is life-changing for me and my family. We’re looking to buy a house, so this will help with that.”

BOTB, founded in 1999, has given away more than £47 million worth of cars so far.

There's a promotional video on the website as well, if you can stomach it

Even worse, he's punching well above his weight with his wife

If the narrator hadn't mentioned it, I'd have guessed it was his daughter :-o

Anyway, luckily it looks like there's a cash alternative to the Merc. In fact the car is really just a promotional gimmick - I mean, you'd have to be awash with cash anyway to keep a £187k car as a prize rather than selling it on...

Seen these things before, and always assume they were fake and just some kind of marketing gimmick.

Still not 100 per cent convinced it's for real, but the Argus seem to think it's kosher

it's a lottery the same as that Omaze thing or the ones on the TV shows someone will win but 10s or hundreds of thousands will lose

Yes, all legit by the looks of it. It's got a kind of spot the ball element to it :-s

No doubt a few on here are familiar with it, but it's the kind of thing I avoid like the plague if I come across it or similar stuff [-(

A couple of lottery tickets a week is my limit when it comes to stuff like this :x

Think every airport terminal has one.

Was tempted once to buy a couple of tickets for a really gorgeous Ferrari, but didn't like the salesman.
