Both TaxiPoint and DM News say the checks involved "compliance on matters including documentation, vehicle condition and passenger safety" and "detailed checks on vehicle condition, documentation, and driver compliance" respectively, although not sure where that came from - can't find anything official apart from the tweet above.
So maybe they're just making assumptions, and DM seems to use TaxiPoint as a source, so maybe he just got it from there
But because the tweet doesn't say there were NO issues found, then you can guarantee that there
were issues found
But they won't say that explicitly.
But the usual formula is to state specifically if
no problems are found, but if problems
are found then just say that they were out doing checks. Or at least that's what I'm surmising, but then I'm a tad cynical about these things.
Although not as cynical as Wolverhampton, at least in the other sense of the word 'cynical'
