Post subject:  Lancs driver's car stolen after dragged out and assaulted

Lancashire Police wrote:
On Sunday 9th October 2022, at approximately 01:00hrs, officers have received a report from a male victim, claiming that he has been pulled out of his car and was assaulted on BLACKBURN ROAD, ACCRINGTON near to the BEES KNEES Public house outside FREDDIES Takeaway premises, the victim states that the unknown males have then driven off in his car.

The Vehicle was then involved in a short pursuit within the Blackburn area before being located on a street abandoned.

Officers are asking for help in identifying the males involved in the incident or witnesses to the Robbery.
If you should have an information please can you ring 101, quoting Crime ref 04/170437/22 or alternatively anonymously via crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Obviously poor quality photos.

And, another funny thing is that the police post doesn't mention the t-word (although it's presumably a PHV), nor provide any indication that it's a licensed vehicle and driver of any kind.

However, the rehash on Lancs Live does use the t-word in the headline, and also crops one of the photos to a more useful size:

You'd think they might have posted the other photo, though, because there's a vague but recognisable face in that one :?
