Bus and taxi crash at Nuneaton station



Stagecoach are investigating after a bus and a taxi collided at Nuneaton bus station this morning. Photos from the scene show the aftermath of the incident.

The bus company said that there were no passengers on board the bus at the time. Nobody was injured in the collision, which an eyewitness said happened shortly before midday.

A Stagecoach spokesman said "We can confirm there was an incident where one of our buses that was involved in a low-speed collision with a taxi at Nuneaton Bus Station. There were no passengers on board at the time and no one was injured in the incident.

"As with all accidents, we'll be carrying out a full investigation." Warwickshire Police have been contacted to see if any investigation is under way.

often when dropping passengers off at our local bus station certain bus drivers would sometimes deliberately aim their buses at you to make it appear as if you were obstructing them when there is enough room to swing a bendy bus around let alone a single decker

Maybe something similar here but driver got it wrong ?
