Not much here on the fare row angle, but she sounds like a right charmer.

Good job all these women are such peaceable types, unlike us men and our 'toxic masculinity', or whatever it is we're all tarred with by the same brush these days :?

On the plus side, I've always wanted to use the word 'Clacks' on here, which is short for Clackmannanshire :-o

Taxi driver punched by Sauchie woman in fare row

A SAUCHIE woman has been jailed for punching a taxi driver in a racial incident.

Isla Anderson, 23, of Branshill Park, also caused a disturbance involving police officers on another occasion.

Anderson appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court by video link from prison, as she is in custody for other matters.

She admitted that on September 7, 2020, at Fairfield, Sauchie, she assaulted the driver by pushing him to the body and punching him to the head in a racially-aggravated offence.

She also admitted that on August 30, last year, at Craigview, Sauchie, she shouted, swore, made derogatory comments and threats of violence towards police officers and repeatedly kicked a police vehicle.

Sheriff Neil Bowie said: “This was an unpleasant incident involving a racially-aggravated assault on a taxi driver who was simply asking for the fare to be paid and the other incident involved conduct directed towards the police.”

He jailed Anderson for 60 days.
