Taxi firm's surprise cash fare
IT is the stuff movies are made of - a cab driver arrives to pick up a fare who puts luggage in the boot.
Within moments someone else arrives on the scene, a heated exchange takes place and the fare runs off - leaving his suitcase behind. The case is later found to contain "£1 million".
However, this is not a work of Hollywood fiction, but what happened to a surprised minicab driver in Manor Park last week.
Mr Ali (the driver) was however left with suitcase full of forged notes, not real ones.
